News VegKit & Beyond Meat want to bring plant-based snags to your next BBQ

Beyond Meat is partnering with VegKit to make sure your next big barbeque event or fundraiser is not only extra tasty, but also kind to animals and the planet! For a limited time, their famed Hot Italian Sausages are being offered for the same price as conventional meat sausages. And even more excitingly, you’re all invited!

With our shared vision of a healthier, more planet-friendly food system that’s kind to our animal friends, VegKit and  Beyond Meat are inviting you to host your own plant-based sausage sizzle! Whether you’re hosting a fundraising, school, or sporting event, or just want to show your local community how delicious plant-based can be, we want to hear from you. 

Having more plant-based options celebrated at events is something we’re passionate about here at VegKit, and we’re so pleased to be able to offer a premium plant-based product at such a heavily discounted rate.  

For charity fundraising, cost for plant-based products has long been an issue. This collaboration allows for charities – and individuals on their behalf – to raise much greater funds to make the biggest impact possible. And putting quality snags in public spaces, such as Bunnings – the holy grail of the sausage sizzle – shows that you can do great by choosing to eat kindly! 

The Hot Italian Sausages are being offered for just $1 each – a third of their usual cost for a limited time only. And we’re confident that when it comes to quality and flavour, first time tasters will be blown away when it comes to trusted brand, Beyond Meat. 

This initiative is open to applicants in SA, QLD, NSW and VIC, with pick-up locations in each state. A minimum order of 250 sausages applies to each event, with a lead-up time of one month.
