Açaí Bowl with Crunchy Granola

We love a good smoothie, but sometimes drinking your meal just isn’t as satisfying as eating it. So grab a spoon, chuck it in a bowl, and explore the endless possibilities of toppings!

You will need:

  • 1 small banana, chopped and frozen
  • 235g (1 ½ cup) frozen berries
  • 1 tablespoon açaí powder
  • ½ cup baby spinach leaves
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) almond milk
  • ¼ cup granola
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3 strawberries, halved
  • Mint, for garnish


  • 1Place banana, berries, açaí powder, spinach, and almond milk in a blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds and then pour into a serving bowl.
  • 2Top with granola, coconut, chia seeds, and strawberries; garnish with mint.
  • 3Enjoy immediately!

Variation: Switch up the toppings for a new twist every time: Try fresh blueberries, mango, sliced banana or kiwi, almonds or walnuts, buckinis, cacao nibs, or your favourite nut butter.
